A two-day workshop for people who want to spin audio magic, but don't know where to start.
Attendees will learn how to come up with ideas for factual audio documentaries and podcasts, plus interviewing skills and basic recording technique. We'll cover elementary editing with Reaper, the use of music and sound effects, idea development and pitching to the BBC. This will be a small and friendly group (6 participants) to make sure everyone gets plenty of help and inspiration.
You can read about what it's like to take part in The Observer review.
Please bring a laptop with Reaper editing software pre-loaded.
Price includes sandwich lunches on Saturday and Sunday, afternoon tea and a double room at the Red Lion Hotel, which is just opposite the Strange & Charmed workshop in Wendover.
